AMHERST - Sandra (Serowick) Plasse died Monday, November 25, 2013, at the Center for Extended Care at Amherst.
Sandy was born March 2, 1947 in Greenfield,Mass. She lived in South Deerfield and graduated from Frontier Regional High School in 1964.
Sandy was married in 1965 to Roger Plasse who was serving in the United States Air Force at Westover Air Base in Chicopee, Mass.
Sandy was employed by the U.S.Government for twenty years and traveled around the world . Upon her return to this area, she was employed at Channng Bete Co. where she worked another 23 years until her retirement in 2009.
Sandy enjoyed her friends, her children and grandchildren. She was predeceased by her mother Rose (Podlo) Serowick, her father Mitchell Serowick Sr., and her brother Mitchell Serowick Jr. She leaves behind her loving husband Roger Plasse, her son Roger Plasse Jr. who lives and works in Naples,Italy, her son Peter Plasse who lives in South Deerfield, and her daughter Christina-Noelle Plasse who works at Cooley Dickinson Hospital and lives in South Deerfield. Sandy also leaves behind five grandchildren and one great-grand child.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Tuesday from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Wrisley Funeral Home chapel, South Deerfield, with a religious service at 4:45 p.m.
