TURNERS FALLS - Sarah Lorraine Cadran ("Sal" "Sally Jane") passed away at home peacefully in her sleep at the age of 28 on Friday, July 6, 2012. She was born in Greenfield, MA on June 2, 1984, the daughter of Jim Cadran and Lorraine (Lloyd) Gadreault.
A 2002 graduate of Franklin County Technical School, Sarah excelled in computer technology and loved to work with computers. She was an avid writer, and wrote several short stories, which her family loved to read. She loved the beauty and creativity of body art, as well as the peace and serenity of the outdoors; especially her camping trips to the White Mountains. Sarah also loved to drive her car around and listen to music, and loved her friends and family with all of her heart.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather Lorraine and Gary Gadreault, father and stepmother Jim and Beth Cadran, brother Tim Cadran, grandmother Beverly Cadran, step-sisters Sarah Messer, Rene Gadreault, Jill Gadreault, and step-brother Jake Gadreault, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins, and has now joined her predeceased cousin Erica Cadran in heaven.
Calling hours will be held at Walker Funeral Home, 14 High Street, Greenfield on Wednesday (7-11-12) between the hours of 4 and 7 p.m. Final committal will be private, for family only.
Thank you to everyone who had a positive impact on Sarah's life. May she always be remembered as someone who fought through the struggles of life with a smile on her face and an open heart, always seeing the best in everyone. Let Sarah always remind us that, "We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience."
