THE COLONY, TEXAS - Victoria "Vicki" Mary (Targhetta) Brower, 62, of 5560 Vance Street, The Colony, TX, passed away unexpectedly on August 18, 2013 at home.
Vicki was born in Greenfield, MA on February 18, 1951, the daughter of Peter and Maria Rose Targhetta.
Vicki grew up in Greenfield where she graduated from high school and started her family. After 30 years in Greenfield, she and her three sons moved to The Colony, where she has remained for the past 32 years. For many of those years, she worked for UPS and at the Valero Corner Store in The Colony, where many of her customers became her friends.
Vicki is survived by her beloved husband John R. Brower, three loving sons, Bryan W. Sears of Denton, TX, James E. Sears of Erving, MA, and Jason T. Sears of The Colony; two brothers, Francis Targhetta and his wife Andrea of Albuquerque, NM, and Alfred Targhetta and his wife Judith of Whately, MA; six grandchildren, Zachary, Ryan, Skylar, Amber, Hunter, and Jamilyn and many other relatives and host of friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday 9/14/13 at 11 a.m. at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 220 Federal Street, Greenfield with the Rev. Charles J. DiMascola officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Czestochowa Renovation Fund, 84 K Street, Turners Falls, MA 01376.
