COLRAIN - Warren L. Brothers, 80, of 34 Adamsville Road, died Wednesday (3-6-13) at Buckley HealthCare Center in Greenfield.

He was born in Gardner, March 18, 1932, the son of Wesley L. and Ruby (Cole) Brothers.
A U.S. Army veteran, he served as a medic during the Korean War.
He married the former Marlene Graziola on April 18, 1953.
Prior to retirement in 1994, he was employed by the former Kendall Co. and later American Fiber & Finishing in Griswoldville for a total of 44 years.
He was an avid hunter and enjoyed especially coon hunting in his earlier years. He enjoyed fishing as well as deep sea fishing at Hampton Beach, NH. With his mobile home, he and his wife would travel annually to the Fryeburg (ME) Fair. They also enjoyed the family camp in Readsboro, VT.
Survivors, besides his wife, includes his son, Wesley F. (Christina) Brothers Sr. of Monroe; two daughters, Charlene (Jeffrey) Crowell of Colrain and Lisa A. Haskell of Greenfield; one brother, Duane Brothers of Colrain; two sisters, Dollie L. Patterson of Bernardston and Carol B. (Herman) Herzig of Colrain; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 11, at noon at the Smith-Kelleher Funeral Home in Shelburne Falls. Burial will be in West Branch Cemetery, Colrain.
There will be a calling hour from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
