FEEDING HILLS - Wilfrid "Will" E. Daignault, Jr., 69, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012, at Baystate Medical Center with his loving family by his side after a brief courageous battle with cancer.

He was born in Montague on Sept. 7, 1942, the son of the late Wilfrid E. Sr. and Jane V. (Berzinski) Daignault. Will graduated from Turners Falls High School, Class of 1960, and St. Michael's College in Colchester, Vt., Class of 1964.
He owned the furniture restoration business Bare Beginnings in Indian Orchard for 20 years. However, his greatest fulfillment came at retirement, when he was a substitute teacher in the Agawam and Windsor Locks High Schools.
He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Feeding Hills.
Will leaves his beloved wife of 45 years, Mary Lou (Morin) Daignault; his son, Ronald; his daughter, Michele Champigny and her husband Marc; his grandchildren, Brandon and Mackenzie Daignault and Elaina and Celise Champigny. He also leaves behind his mother-in-law, Amelia Morin, and daughter-in law, Kelly, to cherish his memory.
Funeral services will be Monday (2-20) at 9:15 a.m. at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 1 Kostanski Square in Turners Falls, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 at Our Lady of Peace Church, 90 Seventh St. in Turners Falls with the Rev. Stanley J. Aksamit, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Anne's Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
