GREENFIELD - Jean C. (Worden) Williams, 88, passed away on Monday (4-21-14) at home. Born in Springfield on Oct. 10, 1925, she was the daughter of Harold H. and Cathrine J. (Mesick) Worden. She was a member of the St. James Episcopal Church.
Jean was a secretary at Franklin Medical Center for over 30 years, until her retirement. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and crafts.
Survivors include her son, Milton "Chuck" Williams, Jr. of Old Deerfield; two daughters: Leslie MacFarlane of North Falmouth and Sally Ferreira and her husband Lawrence of Falmouth, seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday (5-2-14) at 1:30 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 14 High St., Greenfield, with the Rev. David Neil of the United Church of Bernardston officiating.
