TARPON SPRINGS, Fla. - Karen K. Keller, 52, of Tarpon Springs and formerly of Greenfield, MA, died Sunday (8-17-14) at Bayonet Point Medical Center in Hudson, FL.
She was born in Albany, NY, Nov. 4, 1961, the daughter of William D. and Marlene M. (Masson) Keller. Karen attended local schools and graduated from the Franklin County Technical School in 1979.
She worked at the Shady Glen and the Four Leaf Clover restaurants. Karen also worked at Yankee Candle and Stoneleigh-Burnham School.
Karen loved life. She enjoyed flower gardening, cooking and making pies with her sister Penny. She loved spending time with family and friends.
Karen leaves two daughters, Kristina Redecki and Holly Monroe, both of NC; her parents, William D. Keller of Montague and Marlene M. Fondrey of Greenfield; one brother, John Fondry of NY and a sister, Penny Bernier of Montague; four grandchildren, Riley, Chole, Everett and Alex, and several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 1 Kostanski Square, in Turners Falls.
