GREENFIELD - Catherine M. (Pervere) Webber, 104, formerly of Gill, died Wednesday (4-24-13) at Baystate Franklin Medical Center. She was born in Montague on June 20, 1908, the daughter of Frank and Katherine (Gulow) Pervere. She attended local schools in Montague and was a graduate of Turners Falls High School, Class of 1926.

Catherine was a resident of Gill for most of her life, and was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Turners Falls, and enjoyed knitting, crocheting and bowling. She was an avid fan of the Red Sox, especially Big Papi. Catherine followed all of her grandchildren's sporting events and academic affairs closely and lived by the 3 F's; Faith, Family and Friends. She always had a smile on her face and never saw the point of being angry.
Among her survivors, Catherine leaves a son, Richard Webber and his wife Pearl of Montague Center; four grandchildren, Richard Davey and his wife Sandy, Sharon Wright and her husband Jim, Kathryn Webber, and Debra Little and her husband John, 13 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Catherine was predeceased by her husband, Donald N. Webber in 1980; two daughters, Fay C. Davey on April 14, 1995 and Joan B. Webber on Sept. 13, 2005, and siblings, Edward , Earl, Pearl Roberts, Elsie Brizer, John, Ida Franklin, Ellen and Harold and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today (4-26-13) at 1 p.m. at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 1 Kostanski Square, Turners Falls, with the Pastor Carolyn Bellany officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Gill.
A calling hour will be held today from noon until the time of the service.
