Francis Robert Jewers (Robbie) 74, passed on Sept. 9, 2013 in Daytona Beach, Fla., with his family by his side. Robbie was born Feb. 10, 1939, predeceased by his parents, Buddy and Rose Jewers of Medford, Mass., and sister, Donna Walsh.

Survived by his wife, Ann M. Jewers, and his daughters, Deborah Fantucchio of Charlemont, Robin M. Kelleher of Hatfield and Kimberly Jewers of Hatfield, Mass.; loving brother to Carol Cotter, Roberta Mongello, Jerry, Kevin and David Jewers, plus eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
After he graduated from High School, he served in the Air Force from 1956-1960.
Robbie married Ann in 1961 and raised their family in Massachusetts. He had a variety of interests and careers, from a painter to the owner of Pleasant Pools of Pembroke and a Lobster Man running the Lady Ann out of Marshfield, Mass.
He loved boating with family and friends, at one time belonging to the Pleasant Park Yacht Club in Winthrop and the United States Power Squadron in Daytona Beach, Fla. He retired to Port Orange, Fla., and enjoyed traveling back and forth for the past 20 years. Robbie got most enjoyment in retirement from walking on the beaches of Florida and collecting shells with his wife, Ann.
Robbie will be missed and remembered by many including his family, close friends, email companions, as well as distant family and friends, all of whom touched his life.
A Mass was said for him on the 19th of October in Medford.
A "Celebration of life" will be held at Wolfie's Restaurant at 52 South Main St., South Deerfield, Mass., on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013, from noon to 3 p.m.
