Michael Burkey Obituary
Michael was a loving, caring, awesome husband, daddy, son, brother, uncle and friend. We will miss him deeply, but we rejoice in knowing that we will see him again in eternity.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 3rd at 10am at Hillside Community Church, 1091 W. Linda Vista Ave, Porterville. Interment to be private.

Burkey Family and Friends,
I was so heart broken when I heard about his passing. Gone too soon. I am deeply sorry for your loss. I work for a vendor at Michael's job and he was always a very good person to deal with.

We are sorry we didn't have a chance to speak with you today but we wanted to extend our sympathies and let you know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. We know that this is a difficult time for your family and we pray that God's grace will give you peace and comfort. We remember Michael with fondness and know that his memory will always be an important part of your lives.

Michael was a student in one of my early fifth grade classes. He was an intelligent, inquisitive boy. I was pleased when he became our IT man for the school district. I enjoyed introducing Michael to my current students when he came to our classroom to solve a problem with our internet connection.
To Carolyn, John, and Chris, I pray for God's peace and love to comfort you. To Michael's wife and children, I pray for God's loving embrace to assure you of His constant love for you.
