David Beggs age 53 of Sunnyside, WA went to be with his Lord and Savior peacefully in his sleep at home on Saturday, January 25, 2014. David was born on December 21, 1960 in Sacramento, California to Charles and Jean (Wanderer) Beggs. David was a proud member of the United States Military, he served our country for four years in the United States Navy. On June 10, 2000 he married the love of his life Kathy Dunn in Springville, California. David received his certification from RETA Vocational Technology School and worked in the refrigeration tech industry most recently for 14 years at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Grandview, WA.

David was an avid outdoorsman as a young boy and enjoyed camping with his family a cherished activity that continued throughout his life and that he shared with his son and family. He loved the mountains, rivers, lakes and forests. He enjoyed hunting and fishing at the American River in Sacramento, California as well as locations in Kansas and Washington. He also like spending time off road motorcycling and was a fly fisherman. He was a man who truly loved to be out in God's creation.
David was a Christian and belonged to the Charles Stanley Ministry.
David is survived by his father Charles Beggs, wife Kathy Beggs of Selah, WA, son Forrest A. Beggs, daughter Amanda Beggs, two step-daughters Alicia Jones and Aimee Hallburg and five grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers Clinton Beggs of Olathe, Kansas and Joe (Mary) Holly of Folsom, California and two nieces Randi and Loren and nephew Sam.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Millie Beggs and brother, Tom Holly.
Funeral service will be held Friday, January 31, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sunnyside, WA with burial to follow at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside, WA.
