Harold Slate Obituary

Harold Eugene Slate age 79 left us Friday, September 3, 2010. He passed away peacefully in Canadaigua, NY at the Veteran's Medical Center. He was in the company of his wife Ann, daughter Karen and also in the thoughts of all his family.

Harold was born in Lindsay, OK on February 2, 1931 and was a Korean War Veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years Ann Robinson-Slate from Rushville, NY, a younger brother Jerry from OK, daughters; Pat Padilla, Teri Jones, Karen Stieb and son Harold, Jr., 3 grandchildren; Ashley and Chris Padilla and Justin Slate, 2 great grandchildren; Amire and Kiana.

His ashes will be laid at the Vandalia Cemetery in Porterville with a Military Ceremony at a near future date to be announced.

I will miss you Daddy!!! Altho you were my ex father in law you were Daddy to me and Papa to my son Justin..I have many great memory of you Dad and I always have and always will hold them close to my heart. Thank you for being there for me at a time in my life,when I needed you so and for continuing to love and treat me as a daughter all through the years!!!
