Mark Daniel Della Obituary
A generous and loving man, Mark Daniel Della, 48, a lifelong resident of Porterville, passed away in Porterville on Wednesday, May 19, 2010.

Born in Porterville on September 26, 1961 to John Della and Lois Bradley Della, Mark attended Porterville schools and was a 1979 graduate of Monache High School. During his school years, he was an active participant in 4-H, FFA, and wrestling. Upon graduation from high school, Mark began his business career working for Farmer's Tractor, Well's Spray Division, and then K-4 Equipment. For the past 14 years, he was the owner/operator of Della's Equipment. In 1990, Mark married the love of his life, Nicki Murray, and was a loving and caring father to his 3 wonderful children. A hard worker, he lived life to the fullest, and enjoyed the time he spent with his family and friends fishing, hunting, motorcycling, and taking trips to the beach and desert. For 14 years he was an active member of Porterville Believers Church.

Mark is survived by his wife Nicki, daughter Audrey, and sons; Austin and Drew Della, as well as his father John Della Sr., 2 brothers; John Jr. and Pete Della, all of Porterville, and his sister Beth Arnold (David) of Visalia. He is also survived by his father and mother-in-law Curt and Geneva Murray of Springville, brothers-in-law Glenn Murray (Samantha) of Exeter and Paul Murray of Porterville, and 11 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Della.

Mark will truly be missed by his family and friends. A Celebration of Mark's Life will be held on Thursday - May 27, 2010 at 10 AM at Porterville Believers Church.

Memorials in Mark's name may be made to the Della Children's Scholarship Fund in care of Bank of the Sierra, Main Office, 90 N. Main St., Porterville, CA 93257.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Gary Giraudi, Manager of Miller Memorial Chapel in Visalia, CA.
