David Silva Villalobos was born on May 6, 1949 and passed on February 8, 2013. David was an extraordinary man. He dedicated his life to humanitarian efforts becoming a civil rights activist beginning in the early 1970s. He was relentless in advocating for immigrant's rights; he loved and encouraged education and inspired us all with his continued efforts to help the oppressed. He always kept his family close to his heart, making sure he visited us often and took pictures with us at every opportunity.
He was one of eight siblings, survived by Salvador Silva, Jose Luis Silva, Israel Silva, Martha Ramirez, Alicia Flores, Velia Silva and Lydia Ross.
He was preceded in death by our parents Jesus Perez Silva and Consuelo Silva Villalobos. David lived life to the fullest; he was always singing and he danced at every family gathering. We will miss you dearly beloved brother!
