Robinson, Billy Voss  
Billy Voss Robinson, 81, of Washington Court House, Ohio died Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at 2:50 p.m. at St. Catherine's Manor of Washington Court House where he had been residing since February 13. He had been in failing health four years. Mr. Robinson was born June 24, 1933, in Greenfield, Ohio to William Kouns and Pauline Voss Robinson. He was a 1952 graduate of Washington High School and attended Wilmington College. He lived most of his life in this community where, before his retirement, he was a home builder and remodeler. He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church where he served as an usher for over 30 years. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict and had been a member of Paul H. Hughey Post #25 of the American Legion. Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by a son, Mark William Robinson on September 27, 1996. He is survived by his wife, the former Marian Louise Purdum whom he married July 12, 1958; a brother and sister-in-law, P. Larry and Nancy Robinson and a sister, Latricia Ann Robinson, all of Washington Court House; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Barbara and Larry Bloom of Mt. Vernon; two nephews, Carl Robinson of Taylor Mill, KY and Eric Bloom of Thornville; two nieces, Sally Robinson of Maumee, OH and Janet Robinson of Washington Court House and several great nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Friday, March 6, 2015, at 12 p.m. noon at the Grace United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Mick Whistler, pastor at the church, and Mell Wickensimer, minister of visitation at the church, officiating. Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery. Friends may call at church from 10 a.m. Friday until time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Grace United Methodist Church, 301 East Market Street; the Fayette County Humane Society, 153 South Main Street, Washington Court House, Ohio 43160 or the Central Ohio Alzheimer's Association, 1379 Dublin Road, Columbus, Ohio 43215. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House.
