Bellar, Flora A.  
Flora A. Bellar, 86, passed away in Columbus Sunday,May 3, 2015. She was born in British Columbia to the late John Kilburn-King Gillispi and Grace Stewart Gillispie Tyers. Flora was married to the late James Eugene Bellar. In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by two grandchildren Brad Hines and Andrew Bruce. Flora is survived by her three daughters Lyn (Larry) Hines of Wash C.H., Carol (Jim) Morris of Savannah GA and Lisa (Dorrian) Bellar of Columbus; two brothers Kenneth and Ronnie Gillispie and two sisters Violet Gillispie and Geraldine (Paul) Flanagan; grandchildren Jennifer Hines of Wash C.H., Kristy (Tom) Coleman of Portal GA, Jackie (Bobby) Waters of Savannah GA, Randy Bruce of Michigan and Daniell (Kyle) Miller of Wash C.H. and a Granddaughter in law Tracie Hines of Wash C.H.; Six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews here and in Canada Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 11:00 am at Washington Cemetery with Pastor Don Olley officiating. Louise May Porter, 93, Washington Court House passed away on April 28, 2015 in Fayette County Memorial Hospital. The funeral service at Morrow Funderal Home in Washington Court House Ohio on May 1, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. The officiant was Sue Walker. The poem was read by Adam Stritenberger. Pallbearers were: Jim Havens JR., Jody Havens, Tony Duncan, Chris Hurtt, Todd Stritenberger,Kyle May. Honorary pallbearers were: Jason Havens, Adam Stritenberger, Scott May, Ryan May, Brandon Barrett, Brron May and Jerry Havens. Place of burial was in Washington Cemetery. Services were under the direction of the Morrow Funeral Home of Washington Court House.

The funeral service for Marian L. Turner, age 74, of Washington CH, was held on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Lee officiating. Pallbearers for burial at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Frankfort were Mychal Turner Sr., Mychal Turner Jr., Keith Brandon, Keith Lee, Gary Jones and David Alsop. Mrs. Turner passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at St. Catherine's Manor.

Watson, Hubert W.  
HUBERT W. WATSON, age 84, of Washington CH, was called home to be with the Lord, on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 10:34 p.m. at Court House Manor Nursing Home, after a lengthy battle with heart disease. He was born on October 7, 1930 in Fayette County to Floyd "Hays" and Everetta Brown Watson. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was an assistant crew chief on the world's largest bomber, the B-36. Also, he checked President Eisenhower's plane each day when he visited the base. Hubert had sold real estate and was a state champion auctioneer, and was well known for his lifelong love and training of horses. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and cherished spending time with his family. Hubert was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife of 58 years, Helen L. Watson, his granddaughter, Tiffany Watson Guinen and brothers, Jack and Kenneth Watson. Survivors include his children, Larry Watson, Garry (Sharon) Watson, Rick (Mary Jane) Watson, Rita Potter and Pam Watson; grandchildren Regina Lewis, Jackie Wood, Clint Sharp, Brittany (Derek) Shull, William Hockett and Zayne Watson; nine great-grandchildren and brother, Bob Watson as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor John Pfeifer officiating with burial to follow at the Highlawn Cemetery. Yerian, Alan S.  
The funeral service for Alan S. Yerian, age 63, of Washington CH, was held on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the South Side Church of Christ with Danny Dodds officiating. Military rites were accorded by the Fayette County Honor Guard consisting of Chuck Snyder, Mike Curl, Cliff Puckett, David Fredrick, Sheldon Litton, John McCullough and Charles "Buck" Harris under the command of Bill Foody. The flag of the US Marine Staff Sergeant was folded by Pat Dewees, John Mason and Paul Sands and presented to his son, Alan Scott Yerian II. Taps were sounded by Larry Bishop and Stephen Zastrow. Pallbearers for burial at the Good Hope Cemetery were Steve and Tony Yerian, Craig Smoot, Hunter Rowland, Shannon Newman and Homer Smoot Jr. Mr. Yerian passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at the OSU Wexner James Cancer Center. Arrangements were under the direction of the Summers Funeral Home.

Longberry, Harold E.  
Harold E. Longberry, age 80, of Washington CH, died on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at 11:15 p.m. at his home. He was born on November 20, 1934 in Pickaway County to Clarence E. Sr. and Ruth Dorsey Longberry. He was a 1952 graduate of Monroe High School in Pickaway County. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a 30 year civil employee at Rickenbacker and Wright-Patterson Air Force Bases working on restoring aircrafts. He was a member of the Turkey Federation and the Natural Conservative. He enjoyed working and being in nature. He also enjoyed going into old cemeteries and restoring the monuments. He thoroughly enjoyed genealogy, loved flowers and was passionate about his children and grandchildren. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, sister Edith Marie Williams and brother, Clarence Longberry Jr. Survivors include his wife, Mary Wright Longberry, whom he married on August 25, 1957; his children Bret (Tami) Longberry and Brian (Krystal) Longberry; grandchildren Zachary Longberry, Maggie Ruth Longberry, Adam Longberry, Sarah (Joe) Adock, Aaron (Ruthie) Longberry, Andrew Longberry and Brianna Longberry; great-grandchildren Emma Longberry, Drew and Robert Suritt, Lyndi Longberry, Jaxon, Jayden and Zayne Longberry; brothers Clyde Longberry, Robert (Joan) Longberry and special niece Susie Longberry Boone. A Celebration of a Life Lived will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing. Cremation was observed. Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of Fayette County, 222 N. Oakland Ave., Washington CH, OH 43160. Arrangements are under the direction of the Summers Funeral Home. Pennington, William  
The funeral service for William "Charlie" Pennington, age 70, of Pancoastburg, Washington Court House, was held on April 29, 2015 at 1 p.m., at Porter-Tidd Funeral Home. The service was officiated by Reverends Charles Smith and Dan Justice. Pallbearers for burial at Springlawn Cemetery, Williamsport were Dean Penrod, Brandon Penrod, Joe Pennington, Frank Pennington, Steve Ison, and Jack Jacobs. Honorary Pallbearers were Chris Graffis, Tammy Sexton, and Carla Boswell. The rendering of military honors for this Vietnam Veteran was performed by the Circleville Amvets Post #2256. Mr. Pennington passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Chillicothe VA. The flag was presented to his brother-in-law, Retired Staff Sergeant Dean Penrod. Arrangements were under the direction of Porter-Tidd Funeral Home.

Pennington, William C.  
William C. (Charlie) Pennington 70, of Pancoastburg, Washington Court House, Ohio passed away at the Chillicothe V A Medical Center Saturday April 25th following an extended illness. He was born Dec. 8, 1944 in Morgan County, Kentucky to Ronald and Delia (Fyffe) Pennington,and was a U.S. Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 infant brothers, and brothers Ronnie, Bronard, and Eudell Pennington; one sister, Nova Pennington; sister-in-law Anna Lou Pennington and an infant nephew Ryan Penrod. He leaves behind to cherish his memory one brother, Jimmy Pennington and Peggy of Paintsville, Kentucky; two sisters, Bert (Autie) Ison of Columbus, Ohio and Judy (Dean) Penrod of Washington Court House, Ohio; several nieces and nephews, and his canine companion and best friend Dante. Charlie loved music, reading and studying different languages especially the German language and was most proud of the fact that he taught himself the German language; he loved reading and studying the Bible in different languages. Charlie loved everyone and he was loved in return by so many. We will miss him so much, our loss is Heaven's gain. A Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Chalres Smith and Rev. Dan Justice officiating with the interment following in Springlawn Cemetery in Williamsport. The Circleville Amvets Post #2256 will perform a military service for the Vietnam Army veteran. Louise was a member of the Era Pilgrim Holiness Church. In additon to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by a second husband Forest Porter one brother Ralph Penn and one sister Goldie Danes. Louise is survived by her sons Ralph (Patricia) May of Hockesson D.E. and Donald (Harriet) May of Leesburg; five daughters Alice (Carl) Rhoads of Good Hope, Juanita (Dick) Davis of Wash C.H., Naomi May of Wash C.H., Ruby (Thom) Edwards of Frankfort and Mary (John) Verock of Wash C.H.; two sisters Louree May of Waverly and Dorothy Underwood of Chillicothe; 19 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren; special friends David Taylor, Donna Thomas and Wilma Bogard. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 1, 2015 at 12:00PM at the Morrow Funeral Home, Washington C.H. Burial will be in the Washington Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 11 until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Doreen Edith May Steffenhagen, age 82, formerly of Columbus, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at 5:10 p.m. at St. Catherine's Manor. She was born on April 10, 1933 in Ramsgate, England to Albert David and Bertha Violet Gregory. She was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed reading, cooking, bird watching and working puzzles. Doreen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roger William Steffenhagen and her son Mark Joseph Steffenhagen. Survivors include her children Susan Maureen (Mike) Birchfield of Washington CH and William Roger (Peri) Steffenhagen of California; grandchildren Stevie Noelle (William) Steinmetz, Crystel Marie (Jonathan) Squier and William Joseph (Bella) Steffenhagen; siblings David (Fran) Gregory and Sheila Maureen all of England.
