Dear family of Fern Bowman, We live in Grand Junction Co and have loved Jack and Fern for many years. So sorry to hear Fern has passed away. A sweet gentle lady we called a friend. A life well lived. Our love to all of you. Jean and Jeannie Brown. (Nazarene church)

My heart is sad as I hear one of my dear friends has gone on to be with Jesus. I know you are already exploring the streets of heaven. As I sit here trying to take the reality of your passing in I think of this poem.
I cannot say, and I will not say
That she is dead, she is just away!
With a Cheery Smile and a wave of the hand
She has wandered into an unknown land.
And left us dreaming how very fair
It needs must be since she lingers there,
And you - oh you, who the wildest yearn
For the old-time step and the glad return.
