Fred E. St Clair, 84, of Jeffersonville passed away at his residence in Jeffersonville on Saturday, March 8, 2014. He was born to the late Orville and Edna Summers St Clair in Akron, Ohio. He was a graduate of Ohio State University and was a licensed pharmacist. He was previously the owner and operator of Davis Drug Store in Jeffesonville for thirty years and was later employed by Dayton Power & Light retiring in 2013. He was a member of the Jeffersonville United Methodist Church, Jeffersonville Lodge #468, F&AM, the Western Columbus Optimist Club, and the Ohio Valley Springer Spaniel Club.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna DeVoe St Clair and two sisters, Kathryn St. Clair and Virginia Knupp.
He is survived by sons John (Deb) St. Clair of Jeffersonville, James (Aracelis) St. Clair of Bethlehem, PA, daughter Jona Sollars of Jeffersonville; a brother Harry St. Clair of Columbus, Ohio, sister in law Judy (Gene)Adams of Jeffersonville; four grandchildren, Alyson (fiance Dave Owens) McClure of Hilliard, Colby McClure of Columbus, Larrilyn (Tony) DaRif of Florida, and Tyler (Megan) St. Clair of Washington CH, a step-granddaughter Brittany (Rusty) Wilt of Jeffersonville, a special nephew Tom (Missy) Falor, nine great grandchildren and his Springer Spaniel family.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 2:00 p.m at the Jeffersonville United Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Knauff of the Jeffersonville United Methodist Church officiating. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Jeffersonville Masonic Temple, 21 South Main Street, Jeffersonville, Ohio.
