Virginia "Jennie" L. Jordan, 70, of Bloomingburg, passed away April 30, 2014 at her residence. She was born November 30, 1943 to the late George and Thelma Lansing Minney in Washington C.H. She was married to Russell Jordan until his death in 2010.
Jennie was the Fayette County Special Olympics, coordinator for may years, and worked for Fayette Progressive School and Fayette Progressive Industries. She was very passionate and caring for special needs individuals.
In addition to her parents and husband , she was also preceded in death by three brothers George, Jr., Martin and Harvey Jordan and a sister, Mae Forsha.
Mrs. Jordan is survived by a son, Russell W. Jordan Jr. of Washington C.H.; three daughters Cindy (Jeff) Skaggs of Wash C.H., Linda Pac of Washington Court House and Michelle (Doug) Bryan of Wash C.H.; two brothers Jim Minney of Washington C.H., and Robert (Edie) Minney of Wilmington, three sisters, Irene Wical and Clara Coulston both of Washington C.H. and Joyce Lutz of Jeffersonville, seven grandchildren Brooke (Aaron) Dennis, Brandon Dun, Hannah (Donnie) Wilson, Holly(Mark) Bradley, Gabby McCord, and Adam and Dillon Justice; six great grandchildren Wyatt and Lucy Campbell, Eli Dennis, Zyon and Zoe Wilson, Zaiden Wilson, Halle Bradley.
A funeral service will be held at the Morrow Funeral Home in Washington C.H. on Monday, May 5, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. With Pastor Keith Clary officiating. Burial will follow at the Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 2:00 P.M. Until 4:00P.M. And 6:00 P.M. Until 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 4, 2014.
