The funeral for Adam Irvine Sharp, 19, of Greenfield, Ohio was held Saturday, July 26, 2014, at 1 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Church of Christ in Christian Union in Washington Court House. The service was opened with a choral selection by the Edward Lee McClain High School Symphonic Choir under the direction of Loretta Flora. The Rev. Joe B. Stewart offered reflections on Adam's life and the Rev. Aaron Duvall gave a message of hope. The service was concluded with a musical selection by alumni members of the McClain High School choirs.
The procession to South Salem Cemetery was led by a John Deere tractor driven by Doug Miller. Pallbearers were Evan Mustard, James Morris, Connor Semple, Jack Roth, Lee Turner, Jon Litckey, Seth Davidson and Ryan Case. Burial was under the direction of the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House.
Adam, son of David and Suzanne Irvine Sharp, died Sunday, July 20, 2014, at the Wayne County Hospital in Monticello, KY following a boating accident on Lake Cumberland.
