Anthony Domench Obituary

Anthony "Tony" Domench

Jan. 25, 1921 - Oct. 30, 2016

Life long Stocktonian Anthony "Tony" Domench, the youngest and last of three, proud Basque brothers, died recently from natural causes. After graduating from Stockton High School, he followed his brothers into the service. He piloted landing craft during some of the major WWII island battles. Soon after his

return, Tony was hired by Berberian Brothers advancing to sales manager. He became a proficient weekend golfer, but the lure of the Sierras, where he could hike and fish the back country became his passion. Tony tempted many a brook, rainbow, cutthroat and even an occasional golden trout into his creel with a properly placed "bug" pattern. He was proud of serving on the grand jury, and fondly remembered his time spent with the "old" Jester's Club.

Tony was predeceased by his wife Gwen and survived by two sons, three grandchildren, and six great-grand children.

As per his request, no service was scheduled.
