Velma Mae Agee(1916 - 2014)

Velma Mae Agee August 2, 1916 - June 17, 2014 Born to Joseph Sobispa and Sadie Mae Van Matre on August 2, 1916 in San Luis Obispo, California ~ Went home to our Lord on June 17, 2014. Velma was filled with optimistic joy, being constant at keeping a home life and serving the community while inserting love and joy into Christmas', Easters, Birthdays and other dear days ~ so well as teaching and being used by God. Not only spiritually but also autoably in the saving of a neighbor child from drowning. She worked hand in hand with her her husband Rufus, whom she loved dearly and married on September 14, 1937. With Rufus' help, in her retirement years with the aid of a kiln, molds and a "magic paint brush" Jesus caused hundreds upon hundreds of dolls to step from her hands to all parts of the nation and across the seas ~ thrilling lives both young and young at heart. Her love for coastlines thrilled her soul, and in her later years a store full of priceless bargains of exquisite beauty made time stand still for a heart that couldn't be happier. Predeceased were her siblings, Garney Van Matre and Eileen Botts, her Son-in-Laws, Jon Androvich and Edward Neves. Surviving her are her children, Myrti (Stewart) Bedford, Cathleen Androvich and Sam Agee. Her Grandchildren; Dennis (Marci) Neves, David (Deborah) Neves, Debbi (Terry) Lindblad, Shannin (Jeff) Darling and Alicia Doyle. Also are her twelve Great-Grandchildren. Celebration of Life on Saturday, June 28th 3pm at Butte Bible Fellowship, 2255 Pillsbury Road, Chico, California. Call 513-4787 for directions if needed.
