WILLIAM "Bily" Brown

WILLIAM E. "BILLY" BROWN MAY 2, 1944 - APRIL 12, 2013 Billy was born in Southern Californina. After the death of his mother, Billy was sent to Colorado to live with relatives. After graduating from high school, he came back to California to drive logging trucks. He drove in the Quincy, Greenville and Mineral areas. After moving to the Red Bluff area, he drove farm equipment for several area farms. His last job was "Floor Supervisor" for Nu-Way Market in Gerber, Corning and finally Los Molinos. He enjoyed visiting with friends, played a rousing game of cribbage, and played shuffleboard for several area teams. He had a mean spin with the pucks and very seldom lost a game of shuffleboard. Billy had a good heart, kept candy for the small children and made sure to have a supply of cold beer for his friends. A memorial will be held at the Hayloft in Los Molinos, Sunday, May 5th at 1:00. We will celebrate Billy's life with one last shuffleboard game.
