John Frank Gilroy, Senior

January 29, 1947 - September 29th, 2013

Passed at his home after a lengthy illness. He was resident of Anderson for 35 years and the owner of Gilroy Excavating.
He enjoyed his profession of running heavy equipment and was well known in his field.

His great-great grandfather was John Gilroy, who was an early California settler for whom the town of Gilroy was named.

He was preceded in death by his father John Gilroy, mother Pearl Gilroy and his first wife Diana Gilroy.

He leaves behind his wife Margo Cunningham who was with him at the time of his passing. He was the father of three children, Lisa Baumgart of Michigan, Tiffany Chin of Rocklin, and John Gilroy Jr. of Sacramento. He has six grandchildren Brittany, Heather, Blake, Zachary, Nicklas, and Vincent. Two great grandchildren Levi and Connor and one grand-dog Mirabelle. He was very involved with his wife Margo's family and was especially close to her grandson Kyle.

Services will be held on Wednesday, October 9th at 1:00 PM at the Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel 2030 Howard Street in Anderson.
Reception will be following immediately afterwards at the Anderson Community Center 1887 Howard Street in Anderson.
