Jeffry Roy Cox

1955 - 2010

Jeffry Cox, age 55, a resident of Redding, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2010,
in Redding, California, from a brain tumor.

He was the youngest of four sons born to the late Adrian and Nell Cox in Portland, Oregon,
on June 16, 1955.

He attended Huntington High School in Huntington, Oregon, where he was a member of the football team. He married Deborah Stillman on July 6, 1976. After the marriage ended in divorce, Jeff remained single the rest of his life.

Throughout his life he worked in the welding, mining and road construction business. He was also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

He is survived by two children: Carina Cox, of Laguna Hills, California and Eli Adrian Cox, of Salt Lake City, Utah; two brothers, Anthony Adrian Cox and David Nelson Cox. He is also survived by one grandchild, Makayla Jaden Blazer and another grandchild is expected soon.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an older brother, Gary Lee Cox.

A viewing will be held on Friday, November 19th, at 11:00 a.m., followed by funeral services at noon at the Wapello First Ward (337 North 200 East, Blackfoot, Idaho.) Interment will follow in the Taylor Cemetery, Shelly, Idaho.

Local arrangements are by Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Palo Cedro, California.
