Carol Scroggins Obituary
February 5, 1937 - June 29, 2014
Carol Ann Scroggins, 77, went peacefully to Heaven and her beloved husband, Hank, June 29, 2014. She struggled with various health issues over many years, but managed to have a happy life living near her daughter Linda and son-in-law John in Oregon, her final three years. Before moving to Oregon, Carol lived in Redding, California for 40 years. She was a member of the Shasta Baptist Church and loved singing the Lords hymns. Carol had an amazing ability to recall the scriptures. She and her husband Hank were the founders of the Shasta Black Sheep 4-wheel drive club and enjoyed their many adventures.
Survived by her children, Linda Argo of Colton, OR, Lori Mitchell of Marysville, CA, Lonnie Case of Lake Havasu City, AZ, Jami Davis of Sacramento, CA, Lisa Davis of Redding, CA, and Michael Davis of Redding, CA. Six grandchildren, sister, Jo Ellen Henry of Pittsburgh, PA and brother, Tim Jackson of Pittsburgh, PA.
She was loved and will be missed. The family will be having private celebrations of her life in Oregon. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial gifts be made to Shasta Baptist Church, 6600 Westside Rd., Redding, CA 96001.
