Josephine Tolosano Obituary
Josephine Tolosano, 88, of McCloud, California passed away in Hanford, California on
September, 15, 2010.
Josephine was born July 8, 1922 in McCloud, California. She was the eighth of ten children and resided in McCloud her entire life.
She is survived by her four children, Janis Whitacre (Charles) of Hanford, CA; Vicki Tolosano (Ken Beavers) of Red Bluff, CA; Ricki Miller (Edward McClure) of Redding, CA; and Peter Tolosano (Diane) of McCloud. She had three grandchildren; Christopher Whitacre (Christy) of Hanford, Gretchen Sharrah (Jason) of McCloud; and Kyle Tolosano (Amanda Beaudin) of Redding. She had five great-grandchildren; Alyson, Kimberly, and Charles Whitacre and Taya and Tucker Sharrah. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Pellegrino, of McCloud, CA and Katherine Tallerico of Price, UT. Also, she is survived by many nieces and nephews who she dearly loved. She was preceded in death by her husband Pete Tolosano, her sisters; Frances Amentea; Rosalie Scalise; Roseina Long, Louise Lobis, Jennie Pellegrino; and brothers Ben and John Mangone. She was a special "Nonnie" to Evan McMillan and Jeana Michels of McCloud.
She owned and operated Pete's Bartle Station with her husband for over 20 years. They were caretakers of the McCloud River Fly Fishing Club for ten years. She was a chef at the Tree House in Mt. Shasta until her retirement. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in McCloud.
Rosary will be Friday, September 24, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. and a Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, September 25, at 12:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in McCloud. Interment will be at the McCloud Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the McCloud Health Care Clinic or the American Cancer Society.

My Dear Cousins,
To say we will miss her will be an understatement. She never forgot our Birthday, Anniversary, Christmas and Easter. We will miss the cards, the thoughts and most of all the love. She was special and we are sad she is gone.
