Lareha Sparks Obituary

Lareha Jane Sparks

Lareha Sparks, born to Forrest Melvin Leedy and Thelma Lareha Leedy on
November 18, 1942 in Hanford, CA.
She entered eternal life on October 11, 2010.
She passed away at home due to natural causes.

The service will be held at Allen & Dahl 2655 Eureka Way, Redding,
Monday October 18, 2010 at 10 a.m.

Lareha and Robert moved to Shasta County in 1985.
Throughout the years she worked for Gateway Unified School District as an assistant attendance clerk for Central Valley High School, as well as a receptionist at Shasta Middle School Family First Center. She was fun loving and always full of laughter. She adored her many children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and loved to tell stories of the mischief they were all prone to. She was always available to give advice or a shoulder to cry on. Though her family was her first love, close behind was her crocheting and her animals. Her love of crocheting was displayed through the homes of all who loved her and whom she loved. Her love of animals was gained from being raised on a Dairy and through her involvement in 4H as a child, and her home always had a troop of pets, from a crazy raccoon to her beloved Chihuahuas.

She is survived by her mother Thelma Leedy, her brother Victor Leedy, her husband of 27 years, Robert Duxbury, her six children Jennifer Mosier, Carl Mosier, Jr., Pamela Alger, Aaron Mosier, Melissa Dungan and Melanie Duxbury, as well as 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She will be loved and missed by all, as we give her to the Lord so that he may lead her into serenity.
