Lois Walraven Obituary
Lois Therma Walraven, (Bashor, Reeves) 98 died October 23, 2010 at Willow Springs in Redding. She was born November 8, 1911, on a homestead near Polson, Montana.
Lois is survived by her daughters, Dee (Ken) Blackman of Santa Rosa, CA, and Rosemary (Ray) Mashore of Anderson, CA. She had four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Lois was a beautician for 69 years. She was a free spirit who loved outdoor life, horses and dogs and a fanatic about Bridge.
There will be no services. Arrangements handled by Neptune Society of Northern California, Chico.

Today would have been Mom's 99th birthday. She missed it by only a couple of weeks. We miss her.

Lois and I became friends this last year. She was an interesting and sharp women. She would often tell me great stories about her parents homesteading in Montana. I would call her Miss Montana and she would laugh and sing a Montana song. It was a pleasure to know her and I will miss her.
