Sue and I both worked at Shasta County at the same time. She sat across from me and I remember she always took the time to answer any questions I had as a new employee. One of my memories of her is when she came to work one day feeling very sore with bruised ribs. I asked Sue what happened. She said she was trying to move a big garbage can to the street and because Sue was so petite, the can fell on her and she was trapped underneath until someone heard her yell "help!". We laughed over that incident. My sincere sympathy to her family. Cherish the many memories you have of her.

I am sorry I cannot make the Memorial today. I would like to add some comments.
Sue was more than a friend. I was introduced to her by her Sister in the early 70's. I needed help at my office. Sue jumped in and took over the managing while I was dealing with the long distant care of my dying Mother. Sue quickly became MORE than just an office worker. We became more like Sisters.
I would not still have my office had it not been for her.
That was her strong character and her giving nature, as her pay was not as she deserved.
So many wonderful traits she had. Her "Creativity", "Sense of Humor", and ability to make "Lemonade out of Lemons" to name just a few.
Sue will always hold a SPECIAL place in my Heart as well as the hearts of many others who knew her.
God Bless you Sue and may you rest now in PEACE forever.
Your Friend and adopted Sister, Roberta Allen

I remember all you can eat breakfast at Grandma's house as a kid,and our long talks on the phone. We will think of Grandma every day,and every memory will bring a smile.
