Nadine Nowotny Obituary
Nadine was born April 4, 1929 and went to be with the Angels October 2, 2010.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Ray Nowotny.
She was born to "Red" and Janice Condit in Cowlitz County, Washington.
Nadine leaves behind 4 children and two step-children, Dave (Jeannie) Nowotny, Marcell (Frank) Ammon, Nancy Larson, Bruce Nowotny, Raymond Nowotny and Timothy Nowotny. There are 8 grandchildren, Ray Nowotny, Ronnie Nowotny (deceased), Brenda Steiner, Roy Ammon, Jennifer Bhunpaen, Valerie Larson, Josh Nowotny, Eli Nowotny and 6 Great Grandchildren.
And numerous nieces, nephews and cousins that she dearly loved.
She was a women of many talents. She loved to sew, make candy with friends and crochet beautiful doilies for all. She had many different occupations in her lifetime. She was a Nurse, store clerk, prep cook, and secretary but the most important to her was the role of Mom and Grandmother. Nadine had numerous lifelong friends who were very special to her and she loved them all.
The family would like to thank Marquis Care Center for
the loving care they provided the last months of her life.
A Potluck in Celebration of Nadine's Life will be held: Sunday October 10, 2010 1:00 pm at
4476 Hoopa Path, Mountain Shadows Mobile Home Park Rec Room.

Nadine was such a great travelling companion on our trip to Israel. I was able to become much better acquainted with her then. Her sense of humor and pleasantness even during difficult times made the trip that much more enjoyable.
Nadine will be missed.

I had the wonderful pleasure of working with and supervising Nadine for over 6 years while she was employed by Experience Works! She was my Employment & Training Assistant and helped many seniors to get gainful employment. She was a special person that always helped others. Nadine had a tender heart and was always willing to lend a hand. It is with sadness that I say goodbye to my friend who will be missed. Nadine will also be missed by many other's whose lives she touched. No words can truly express the feelings of sorrow at her loss, but she will always be remembered.

MARCELL,NANCY,BRUCE,DAVE,AND FAMILY, I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR OF NADINE PASSING.I REALLY DON'T KNOW HOW TO SAY WHATS IN MY HEART AS SHE WAS MY FRIEND FOR YEARS AND YEARS AND ALWAYS WILL LIVE IN MY HEART. I JUST WANT YOU ALL TO KNOW WHAT A GREAT MOM YOU HAD. HER SMILE COULD LIGHT UP THE ROOM AND SHE ALWAYS GIVE OF HERSELF TO HELP OTHERS. MAY GOD CONFORT YOU ALL AT THIS TIME. I had wondered how Nadine was getting along..Has been several years since I have seen her and she has been on my mind...I worked with her when she was at Golden Marketing...Always enjoyed her friendship...so sorry to hear she has passed on, but she truly lived a full and good life...

I so enjoyed meeting Nadine on the incredible Israel adventure for Jennifers graduation and wedding. Her sense of humor and inquistive nature made me like her instantly. She made sure to do all she possibly could on that trip-Nancy and Marcell, you honored her by your care for her during the trip and after. When I stopped by, she raved about how attentive you were. I am grateful for having shared that time with all of you.

Nancy,Marcell and all of you my thoughts are with you today. It is hard to say goodbye to someone we love so much and saying goodbye to your mother a collosul task. Nadine was my friend...she took me under her capable wing and taught me many lessons that help me with my life. Wiser than her years she always had the best advice no matter what the situation was...thank you Nadine for being a part of my life...and being a person that changed me by knowing you in a blessed and positive way.
