Todd Frojen Obituary

1956-2010
Todd Peale Frojen was born July 10, 1956 in San Mateo, CA, and passed away on October 7, 2010, in French Gulch, CA. He arrived in French Gulch in the early 70's, where he attended New Trails School.
He is predeceased by his parents, Enoch Alan and Jane (Dugas) Frojen, and by his brother Kristan.
He is survived by his brother, Charles Frojen, and nephews, Jens and Stuart Frojen. He will be greatly missed by countless friends and loved ones.
He was such a generous person, he was blessed with a giving spirit and a beautiful soul.
He was a fishing guide, a master mechanic, and a skilled upholsterer, who loved to hunt, kayak, dive for abalone and much to his friends delight, he loved to cook and experiment with recipes. He would get up at 4 a.m. and make his famous banana bread and deliver it around town while it was still hot. There could always be found a loaf of bread baking or a pot of something simmering on his stove.
He was a member of the French Gulch Odd Fellows Lodge #75 and E. Clampus Vitus Chapter #62, Weaverville. Todd also helped the French Gulch Fire Department restore their antique fire engine.
A Day of Remembrance and Potluck will be held on October 24, 2010, at E.Franck & Co., Main Street in French Gulch, weather permitting, or at the French Gulch Fire Station, Cline Gulch Road, from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Todd Frojen to the F.G. Odd Fellows Lodge #75 or the French Gulch Volunteer Fire Department.

Toodels, Your infectious smile and giving ways will truly be missed in our small town. Everyday I pass your house, and look to see if you are there. All I see is emptiness, and messages left on your gate. I miss all of your terms of endearment. May peace be with you friend.
