Victor Lewis Dusio

1962 - 2010

Victor Dusio, age 48, of Fremont and Redding, born September 30, 1962,
passed away November 25, 2010 in Fremont, California.

He is survived by his twin sons, Kevin and Mark and wife Kathleen. He was preceded in death by his father Richard. He is survived as well by his mother Carol of Redding, sister Susan Ayala of Redding, brother Richard Jr. of Nevada City and sisters Kathleen Dusio-Mankin, Diane (Teri) Dusio and Dana (Toni) Dusio, all of Redding.

He was a Sales Engineer for 18 years with Bay Advanced Technologies of Fremont. He always seemed to have a project going; he'd tinker in the garage or improve a room in the house or section of the yard. He most of all enjoyed spending time with his boys; he embraced life to the fullest. His gregarious personality made him many friends in his personal and professional life.

Victor will always be remembered by his love of life and quick wit. 'The old Vic' will be missed by many, but he will always be in our hearts.

His services will be at 11:00 am Monday, December 6, at
Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 2600 Shasta View Drive, Redding.

Vic's passing makes no sense to me. I'm still in shock weeks later. He was a good man, always easy with a laugh, a loving father. He is so missed by so many.

Victor it was a pleasure to know you. We shared many good times and laughs over the years and you were always the person that could keep everyone smiling regardless of the situation. I will always remember those early days when you first started at Bay in Redwood City and we had the little outside sales office across the street. You were a good man and I am proud to call you my friend.

Victor, you were a great friend to me. Professionally, you taught me more than you will ever know. My heart is breaking for your family because I love how much you loved your boys. Most who crossed paths with you are better people because of it. I’ll never forget our “Lewis and Clark” journey in Portland because you didn’t want to buy a map. We laughed so hard it was almost impossible to drive. I’m going to miss you my friend. You will never be forgotten. Godspeed

I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you and your family. •May the peace which comes from the memories of love shared, comfort you now and in the days ahead. Victor was a great guy to work with - full of fun and life - always tinkering with something. I loved the stories of the Halloween decoratoins. He will forever be missed.

Victor was a great person inside and out. He was always there to make you smile even on your worst day. He always had a positive attitude and never said "I can't". All of his longtime friends and coworkers lives will never be the same without him. I hope that he has found peace and my deepest sympathies to his family.

Vic was the "Most Awesome" cousin anyone could hope for. We cousins shared so many fun outlandish adventures together. All of us will miss the fun, zest for life, and adventure Vic brought to everyday activities, the way you could turn a tough situation into a hysterical story where people would feel much better about seriously bad luck. I just can't explain how hard it is knowing we will not be seeing you again in this life.

My heart goes out to the Dusio family. It has been years but I have such great memories of Victor and his incredible family. One of my favorite memories is the time I went to get in my car and leave for work and found that Victor and his friends placed blocks under the rear wheels of my car. To this day you still make me laugh when I think about it. I was blessed to know you. May your love for each other and warm memories comfort you all in the difficult times. With love~

Since the beauty of a life well lived lasts forever, Victor is gone from our sight, but never our memories - - Gone from our touch, but never our hearts.

Victor was dearly loved, greatly liked, sharing, caring, and brought joy to everyone who knew him.

I will cherish the time we had together, celebrate his memory, be thankful I had the pleasure of being part of his wonderful life, and find peace in knowing he will be deeply missed by all.

Love Aunt Geri

Victor was an integral member of Bay Advanced Technologies “family” for many years. He was a big Sales Team contributor that secured work for all three of our divisions of our company. His technical skills helped our company shine. I remember when the twin boys were born premature, everyone in the company was so concerned and we were all pulling for them. We were all so relieved when they stabilized and all was good. I will miss his “can-do” spirit and easy sense of humor.
Good-bye “old Vic.”
