Warren Arnold Obituary

Warren "Hank" Arnold

1971 - 2010

Warren Arnold was born here in Redding to Nedra and Jim Arnold. He was welcomed by older sister Rhonda and big bro Jay. He was the baby and quickly picked up the nick name "Hankie/Hank". Hank idolized and looked up to his big bro n sis greatly! They taught him to appreciate classic rock and 80's pop culture (he's been hooked ever since!). The family spoiled him and catered to his every wish! His friends have often referred to his family as "The Perfect Family" due to the love they showed one another other and all who entered the home. Jimmy and his children shared a love of sports; they could see early on that Hank was gifted. His true passion was baseball. With rides to practice from his sister and hours of catch with his brother and dad, he quickly became a standout athlete. He was a great student. He loved his teachers and classmates. He joined every team and sport he could! His family was always there supporting and cheering him on at every game. Hank attended E.H.S. He played several sports during those years. His smile was a permanent fixture on his face. He was often the class clown with his jokes and pranks. He was popular, he was kind to everyone and also received good grades. Hank chose to attend college close to home as he was a new uncle and wanted to be there for his sister and nephew. He also had a new girlfriend who years later would become his wife (Sheri). Sheri quickly felt loved by him and his family going to BINGO with Nedra and attending Sunday Dinners. In 1994 they were married and bought their 1st home with dreams of filling it with children of their own. "Uncle Hank" was everyone's favorite uncle. After years of trying Daddy got his little "Lamb" on October 27, 1998 Macy Jane Arnold arrived! Proud was an understatement, Hank was on cloud 9! He was such a great dad that friends and family even referred to him as "Daddy". In 2005 the family grew when Jamie, age 15, Born December 15, 1990 became their 2nd daughter. Hank was elated! He would say she was the son he never had. The family enjoyed every minute Daddy had off from the Wal Mart Distro. Center in Red Bluff where he had happily worked for over 13 years. They camped, went to places like Hawaii, Vegas, Disneyland and his favorite place, Cabo San Lucas, MX. They spent several weekends and Holidays with all of the kids up at the Family Cabin in McCloud, where he would spend so many memorable moments doing special things with the family. Hanks family, friends, and co-workers meant so much to him! He treated everyone with love, showered them with gifts and literally had given the clothes off his back. He loved eating at his favorite restaurants and he was well known at several for his "Big Tips". He took the children to movies, bowling, golf, he coached them, played games with them. The time he spent with them was priceless, out of love, and it showed. The kids would laugh with him so hard they would get belly aches! After years of investing in real estate, the Arnolds opened a beautiful salon (Prima) where they worked very hard, often as a family. Then out of nowhere they got a huge surprise, a son, Aiden Judson Roy Arnold born April 5, 2008. Daddy was trying to play catch before the boy could walk. He was looking forward to someday coaching him. Hank would often tell people "My life is so perfect, if I was to die today I could not ask for anything more, I am so lucky!" He was a model father, a doting husband, a loving son, an awesome brother, the funniest uncle, an excellent employee, and a dearest friend! There will never be another like him and we were so lucky to have had him, there will never be another Hank Arnold! Daddy we love you! We know you loved us so much and we will miss you. The world just lost an amazing man. Until we are all with you again, RIP Warren "Hank" Arnold 1971-2010.

Hank left behind the broken hearts of his wife Sheri, children Jamie, Macy and Aiden. Parents Jim and Nedra, siblings Jay and Rhonda. The Connor God-Children, nieces and nephews Logan, Deseree, Abe, Hayden, Hayley, Hannah, Taylor, Jordan, DeVante and a grandchild, Mckenzie.

Service will be Sunday January 2, 2011 at 3:00 pm at the Shasta Builders Exchange off Old Oregon Trail.

I went to EHS with Hank and I can remember laughing and having a lot of fun with him and all our friends in school. I am sorry I never had a chance to know him as a father and the loving husband he grew up to be. I will always remember all the fun times we had as kids.

When I was 15 my family moved and I had to go to a new high school. I was so nervous since I was shy and didn't know a soul. I met Hank on my first day since he sat in front of me in several classes. He was always the bright spot of those first few days at a new school. He was so kind to me and so helpful. He was so funny and always made me laugh. I will always be thankful to Hank for showing me such kindness during my difficult transition. He was a good person and I know he will be missed by everyone. His family is in my prayers.
