William Johnson Obituary

William Jed Johnson beloved husband and father passed away on October 12, 2010 at the age of 84 following an injury.
Bill was born in Long Beach, CA on December 30, 1925. Bill served in the Navy during WWII, was stationed on Guam. After discharge he moved to Shingletown in 1946 where he met and married Patricia Lovelett on November 20, 1948. Bill was father of three children, Candice Anderson of Shingletown, Debra Collins of Redding and Mark Johnson of Lynnwood, WA. He left five grand children and eight and 1/2 great grandchildren. After working in logging and lumber mills he went to work for Chair Hill and Assoc, which later become CH2M Hill where he worked for 31 years before retiring in 1993.
Grave side services will be at Ogborn Inwood Cemetery in Shingletown on October 16, 2010 at 2 p.m. Reception to follow at his daughter's house in Shingletown.
