Bill worked with me 12+ years at Redding Medical Home Care. He was one of our bright spots in life. Our onging joke was about how he got caught 'singing into a fan' over at Trinity Hosp, and how if you needed anything, you could find it in his truck..somewhere! What an upper he was!
My sympathies go out to his dear family because if we miss him, I know you are truly heartstruck! God bless his precious and caring soul.

I did not have the pleasure of knowing Bill personally only professionally and he was the very best. We worked together on a couple cases and he was a pleasure to work with. I could tell he cared deeply about people and truly enjoyed his job. I enjoyed chatting away with him.
My heart goes out to his family. I am so sorry for your tragic loss. There are people who seem to glide through life, never really contributing just maintaining a mere existence. Bill was not one of these people. Bill was a larger than life figure who waltzed among the very best and touched the hearts of so many along the way. The world has lost someone beautiful. Again, my condolences to his family and friends. This was such a tragedy. I will miss him terribly.

Billy was one of my best friends in my high school years. I have such fond memories of hiking in the Trinity Alps, playing basketball, helping him with his chores, which included milking the goats! One of our favorite things to do, was to milk the goats, run it through the cream separator and put the milk in the freezer for a few minutes, then pull it out and drink fresh ice cold milk.
I am so sorry that he was taken from his family so abruptly and we are praying that God's peace and comfort be with the Kirkpatrick family.
I will always cherish the memories of a good buddy and faithful friend.

I will greatly miss Bill, he was a terrific nurse and taught me how to be a home health nurse in the early '90's. He was a terrific guy with a big heart. My prayers are with his family. Dawn Anderson RN, Redding
