Jack W. Ferguson

Jack Ferguson, born May 23, 1933 passed away Thursday August 12, 2010
at home after a courageous battle against cancer.
His loving and devoted wife Debbie and son Mike were at his side.

Jack was a wonderful story teller with a great wit and inquiring mind. His stories were legendary and he greatly enjoyed telling them. His interests were many and varied as he was always enthused about expanding his knowledge. He particularly loved his travels, more recently his treks to the Black Rock Desert. These, to Jack were simply more opportunities to meet and share with more people. Jack could captivate anyone anywhere with his charisma, a gift few others possess. Perhaps Jack's close cousin Rich said it best: "Jack's infectious smile, his stories, enthusiasm, and general good nature will stay in our hearts and minds forever".

Jack is survived by his loving and devoted wife Debbie, son Mike, his grandchildren Max and Tor, his mother-in-law Theora, sister-in-law Jayne, brother-law-in Jeff and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Jack left a lasting impression everywhere he went, with a twinkle in his eye. He passed away as he lived with a smile on his face. Jack was dearly loved and will be tremendously missed.

In lieu of flowers please donate in his name to the Planetary Society.
As was Jack's wish no service will be held…please toast him in your thoughts and hearts.
