Ira Leona (Smith) Golliher
On March 2, 2013, God called home his good and faithful servant, Ira Leona (Smith) Golliher. Leona was 91 and died peacefully in her sleep in Temple City, California. Leona was born March 17, 1921 in Magargel, Texas.
Leona spent her childhood in Upland, California and graduated from Chaffey High School in Ontario, California in 1940. Leona served for 30 years as a devoted missionary wife in Peru. Her husband of 66 years went home to be with the Lord in 2006.
Leona is survived by her daughters Jean Gwynne, Claudia Mathews, Billie (Dan)Gipe; and two grandchildren, Randi (Ben)Talmage and David Gipe.
Services will be held at 11:30 AM on March 7 at the Ontario First Church of the Nazarene, 1311 W 5th St, Ontario CA 91762. Leona requested that memorial contributions go to the mission work in Peru by sending to; "Newhall Church of the Nazarene-Golliher Chiclayo Church Fund", PO Box 4062, Kingman, AZ 86402.

Leona was one of our favorite persons. We will always treasure our time spent in Chiclayo with she and Clyde. So happy she is with her Lord and her beloved husband and free from pain and care.
