DUBERKE, Carolyn Fife

Carolyn Fife DuBerke, 68, passed away from cancer in her home on May 2, 2013 in the presence of her daughters. Born on September 6, 1944 to David and Natalie Fife, Carolyn was a native Southern Calforina resident having grown up in Sundland and Burbank. She married Charles DuBerke (deceased in 2006) in 1969 and resided in Arcadia for the past 45 years. She was active in the community as a PTA president, Temple City soccer and softball team mom and an active member of Arcadia Presbyterian Church. She worked 25 years for the Temple City Unified School District. She will be most remembered for her postive outlook, efficient manner and her giving spirit. Carolyn is survived by her mother and stepfather Natalie and Gene Wilson; mother-in-law Helen DuBerke; two daughters Christina Herum (Jon) and Karen DuBerke; five grandchildren: Thomas, Carissa, Amanda, Clara and Noah and her greatgrandson Brodi. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, May 10 at 4:00, Arcadia Presbyterian Church, 121 Alice Street. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Arcadia Presbyterian Mission Committee earmarked "Door of Hope" or "Elizabeth House."
