BETTY L. DILLON

BETTY L. DILLON
83, of Redlands, CA, passed away at her home on Sept. 26, 2013 with her husband at her side. Betty had been battling Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) for several years. Betty was born on August 1, 1930 in Los Angeles, CA and moved to Redlands with her family in 1964. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, James E. Dillon, two sons, Michael Kashirsky of Encinitas, CA and James L. Dillon of Phoenix, AZ and a daughter Susan Davis of Myrtle Creek, OR. She is also survived by her brother Bearl Leach of Redlands, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Betty spent most of her career in real estate and was a former executive secretary of the Redlands Board of Realtors. Betty's most recent role was as executive secretary to Russ Huston, realtor, where she worked for twenty years. Betty was an avid scrapbook creator, enjoyed computer games, and playing bingo. With her scrapbooks, she documented not only the visual transformations of her family and friends, but the love that she felt for all who knew her. At the request of the deceased, no formal services will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation in Betty's name to the .
