Gloria Rubardt, born May 12, 1946 in Ogden, Utah; passed away Sunday, April 21 in San Marino. Gloria was born to Walter Joseph Turner and Alberta Williams and she moved with her family to Pasadena in 1953. She attended Linda Vista Elementary, La Canada Junior High and John Muir High School, graduating in 1964. She became a Dental Assistant and worked for Dr. Roger Lindner until 2004. She married David Rubardt on September 7, 1968 and she, David and their daughter Jennifer have lived in San Marino since 1972. As well as being a devoted wife and mother, Gloria will be remembered by her many friends and family as a kind, loving and giving person and a gracious hostess. She was a long time member and supporter of the National Charity League, Crown Guild and the Junior League of Pasadena. She is survived by her husband, David Rubardt; her daughter, Jennifer (Corey) Barberie, and granddaughter, Caroline Barberie, of Pasadena; sisters Joan (Frank) Brommen- schenkel of Ventura and Beverly (Herb) Scovel of Bountiful, Utah; and brothers Walter (Jean Anne) Turner of Irvine and George (Cheryl) Turner of Glendora.
A Memorial Service was held on April 29 at the Church of Our Saviour in San Gabriel. Private interment will be at San Gabriel Cemetery.
