VETTI, Lee

Lee Vetti, 86, of Glendora California, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on December 29, 2013. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 31, 1926 to Adelina and Paul Vetti. Lee established Azusa Sales ,a TV & appliance store in Azusa, California in 1954 and was an integral part of the surrounding communities. Known by his family as "Papa", he loved all things Italian – from people, music, and especially food. He always put his family first, and was a true patriarch.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Rose Vetti; his 4 children: Daughter Charlene (Gregory) Schofield, daughter Paula (Joseph) Rubinstein, son Rick (Vickie) Vetti, and daughter Gina Vanderploeg. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren, who he truly adored: Mathew (Lesley), Daniel, David, Andrew, Leah, Michael, Jacob, Joseph, Mark, Robbie, Melissa, as well as a great-grandson, Henry. He leaves behind numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as many friends who were loved like family.

A Funeral Service will be held 3PM Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Oakdale Memorial Chapel 1401 S. Grand Ave. Glendora, CA 91740.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Lee Vetti's honor to Citrus Valley Hospice in West
Covina ,for the excellent care they provided.
