Formerly of San Bernardino, Redlands and Moreno Valley, CA, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2013, in Fort Worth, Texas, surrounded by his loving family. Tim moved to Texas with his family 10 years ago, continuing his 36-year career with the BNSF Railway at the Fort Worth Corporate Offices. He was also a 36-year member of the UTU.
Tim was born on March 19, 1956, in San Bernardino, CA, to Jim and Lola Graham. He was the youngest of five children. He attended San Gorgonio High School, graduating in 1974, and then spent two years at San Bernardino Valley College. In 1976, he married Laura Young of Redlands CA.. He then began his career with the ATSF Railway in San Bernardino in 1977. Tim and Laura started their family while living in Redlands, and would soon make the move to Moreno Valley, where they raised their "greatest gifts to each other" for the next 20 years. He spent many years volunteering with the children of Moreno Valley through assorted PTA's, Little League, Youth Federation, Pop Warner, Riverside County swim teams, Palm Desert Ice Hockey, as well as Canyon Springs High School's Roller Hockey team, JROTC and Marching Band. Tim led a full life surrounded by the love of his honored and grateful wife and children. He had an enormous and loving circle of family, friends and co-workers. He was a selfless, kind and patient man who was passionate about all children, learning, travelling, history, animals, music, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and his beloved Seattle Seahawks. He never met a person he didn't like, and all were blessed to know his gentle spirit.
Tim is survived by his wife, Laura, of 37 years; son Matthew and grandson Brennan; son Josh and his wife Kristen; and daughter Nathalie, her husband Josh, and grandchildren Graham, Darci and Shiloh. Such a comfort were those grandchildren in his last years. He also leaves behind his father, 4 siblings, "mother-in-love", "siblings-in-love", as well as countless nephews and nieces. A Celebration Of Life will be held this Sunday, October 20th at Cortner Chapel, 221 Brookside Avenue, Redlands at 11 am. Rest well, dear Tim, in the arms of our Creator,
at peace in the Perfect Forever that is now yours !
