Obituary Condolences

MANUEL ROMO CERVANTES Age 99, of La Verne, died December 12, 2010, at home in La Verne, surrounded by his children. He was born November 25, 1911, in Michoacan, Mexico, and lived in La Verne for 94 years. He worked as an insurance salesman for 40 years, and was an active member of the Knights of Columbus, was a Councilman, and was an Activist for the Hispanic community. He was predeceased by his Beloved wife, Margaret. His survivors include his daughters, Connie Nagle and Marta Cervantes; his son, Jaime Cervantes; his sisters, Mary Saucedo and Hermelinda Suarez; his brother, Aurelio Ruiz; his grandchildren, Marshall Nagle, Christine Nagle, Matthew Nagle; his 9 great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter. Rosary will be held at 4:30 P.M., Friday, December 17 at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, La Verne. Mass will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, December 18 at Holy Name of Mary. Graveside Services to follow Mass at Holy Cross Cemetery, Pomona.
