Melvin Duane Brower (Mel)
Melvin D. Brower (80), long time Covina resident, Azusa teacher and coach, and faithful member of Covina First Baptist Church, won his 15 year battle with Parkinson's disease when his Savior, Jesus, ushered him from life into the victory of life everlasting on January 25, 2013.
Mel is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Charlene Brower, children, Charmel Pavlich, Craig Brower, and Colleen Lindsay, 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and countless other family members and friends. Mel is rejoicing in Heaven with his father Gerrit Richard Brower, an older sister and one younger brother.
Mel left a lasting legacy of faith and love. We are immensely grateful that the Lord chose to loan him to us! We will see you soon Daddy.
A celebration of life is planned for Friday, February 8, 2013 at El Morro Church of the Nazarene, Los Osos, CA.
