Born on March 4, 1926 in Los Angeles, CA, passed away peacefully at his home in North Hills, CA on April 29, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Margarita Rutiaga. Mr. Aragon is survived by five children - Maximiliano, Ana Maria, Ruben, Leticia Aragon and Silvia Negri. Eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren, also, mourn his loss. Mr. Aragon was one of 14 children born to Maximiliano Aragon and Maria Aragon Escudero. He leaves four siblings behind, who will miss him deeply.
Mr. Aragon joined the US Army and served in the European Theatre after graduation from San Fernando High School in 1944. Upon his discharge, he joined his two brothers in building the successful firm of Aragon Plumbing, in the City of San Fernando. He retired in 1999.
A rosary will be given in Mr. Aragon's honor on Thursday, May 9th, at San Fernando Mission Mortuary, 11160 Stranwood Ave., Mission Hills, CA, with a reception to start at 6:00 p.m., and the Rosary to commence at 7:00 p.m. A mass will be celebrated for Mr. Aragon on Friday, May 10th, 10:30 a.m., at Santa Rosa of Lima Catholic Church in San Fernando, CA. Inurnment will take place at the San Fernando Mission Cemetery in Mission Hills, CA in the near future.
