She had worked at Rockwell, Inc.for 25 yrs before she retired. She then stayed home for a short time and felt like she needed something more to do; so she walked into Public Safety in Norwalk where Kevin Gano was in charge. He saw something in Maxine that lasted some 20 years of volunteer service. She did data entry and many other jobs. She was recognized by the Norwalk City Council just last month for her volunteer service to the City which she loved so very much. To her, this position was HER job!! Sears; six grandchildren, Tim, Steven, Jeff, Christine Lopez, Michelle Brock and Shana Hart. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. Maxine (Mickey to us) was one of a kind. She was a loyal, hard working, determined lady. She always saw the best in everything and everyone.
