Cecilia Diane Olsen, 77, passed away June 17, 2018, at her home in Kansas City, Mo., after a short battle with cancer.

She worked many years in various capacities as a nurse but eventually focused on a career in OB/GYN and was a consultant for the Nebraska State Health Department in Lincoln, Neb., for many years, a position she greatly enjoyed.
Cecilia is survived by sisters, Martha Milburn and husband Rod of Costa Mesa, Calif., and Michelee Jensen of Camdenton, Mo.; niece, Michele Milburn of Kansas City; three nephews, Jeff Jensen and wife LouAnne of Kansas City, Steve Jensen of Kansas City and Michael Findley of New York City; as well as a great-niece, Alyssa Jensen of Kansas City.
Cec was a great animal lover and dearly loved her two dachshunds, Beckett and Casey, who gave her unconditional love and companionship. Memorials are requested to be given to the Humane Society of Kansas City or the Great Plains SPCA.
Cec had a heart of gold and will be missed by many as well as her loving family. May her future journey be a peaceful and joyful one filled with the love in her heart which we all feel for her.
Per Cec's request, service will be for family only.
