WINTERVILLE - Bobbie Creech Barham, 79, passed away peacefully at the Courtyards at Berne Village on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013.
Bobbie was born in Wake County on July 9, 1933, to the late Jesse Creech and Maggie Smith Creech. She graduated from Hugh Morson High School and Hardbarger's Business College. Bobbie retired as an administrative assistant with N.C. State Government and resided in Raleigh until 1997. She was a beloved and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Funeral service 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale. Burial in Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Ave.
The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 1-2 p.m.
Surviving are a daughter, Nanette Stillwell and her husband, Kenneth, of Grifton; son, Robert Tony Barham Jr. and his wife, Terri, of Dudley; grandchildren, Caroline Stillwell Godwin (Derek) of New Bern, Elizabeth Stillwell of Winooski, Vt., Victoria Barham Hobgood, QM1 (SW), U.S. Navy, and Robert Tony Barham III of Dudley; step-granddaughter, Michelle Stillwell Aldridge (Mark) of Grifton; great-granddaughter, Megan; and many dear nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Tony Barham; a sister, Blanche Johnson; and a brother, Leroy "Bubba" Creech.
