Losee Linwood Andrews (LL), 90, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of June 20, 2014, in his little log cabin by the creek.   
A "private" graveside service will be held Monday with the Rev. Dennis Adams officiating.
Mr. Andrews was born on April 18, 1924, in Bethel, where he lived until 2006 when he moved to Greenville.  Papa was a World War II veteran who served in the European Theatre, a retired DuPont employee and a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church. Those who loved him appreciated his art of entertaining with humor, stories and conversations. He had a passion for the Earth and was a master gardener who planted and nurtured his garden, fed his chickens and listened to games on the radio while on his porch with his loyal canine companions, Lacee, Tiger and Spanky (Bodee).
He will be remembered for his strong will and his love of many good times spent with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Losee Linwood Andrews Sr. and Daisy James Andrews, and the love of his life, Merle Manning Andrews, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Christine Sullivan, Prudence A. Goetz, Frances Chewing, Daisy Lee Carson, Mary Jane Bedenbaugh and Manley Bedenbaugh.  
He leaves behind his son, Linwood (Woody) Andrews and wife, Rita; daughter, Pam Andrews Conyers and husband, Jeff; grandchildren, Ashleigh Andrews Berry, Scott Christopher Andrews, Stacey Kathryn Andrews and Katie L. Conyers; great-grandchildren, Conner Lewis Berry and Holden Andrew Berry; and a sister, Louise A Crowder. 
The family will friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday evening and at other times at the home of Woody and Rita Andrews, 4146 N.C. 43 North, Greenville.
